Williams Sonoma teams up with Billy Reid for a cocktail collection

American retailer Williams Sonoma has teamed up with four-time Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) award-winning designer Billy Reid to create a cocktail collection.

It’s an unusual cross collaboration. Williams Sonoma, a leading American retailer of home products (furniture, kitchen supplies, linens, etc.) is collaborating with designer Billy Reid on a collection of bar and cocktail accessories.

Known for his clothing that is made to last and that emphasises craftsmanship, Billy Reid has teamed up with Williams Sonoma to create a whole barware kit. On the menu: glasses, cocktail napkins, linens, oyster knife, apron…

“We love collaborating with designers who bring a unique perspective,” explains Williams Sonoma president Felix Carbullido. “Billy Reid’s passion for detail and quality construction of his garments is truly reflected in the incredible products he has created for Williams Sonoma.”

For his part, the designer points out that “With this capsule, we wanted to blend Williams Sonoma’s expertise in bar tools with Billy Reid’s aesthetic to create a compelling collection that I hope will make people want to welcome home.”

The mix of classic style and modern aesthetic that inspired this collection, showcases handcrafted and mouth-blown glasses, while the bar tools allow for the preparation of cocktails in style. A durable denim apron and elegant cotton twill napkins complete the assortment designed to satisfy all tastes, from the seasoned mixologist to the home bartender apprentice.
