After Hainan and Geneva, the famous Watches and Wonders watch fair returns to Shanghai from September 13 to 17. This third edition will bring together 14 exhibiting companies and open its doors to the general public for the first time.
For the third edition of Watches and Wonders Shanghai, connoisseurs, collectors and enthusiasts will gather at the West Bund Art Center, right in the heart of the city. Open, luminous and transparent, the completely redesigned pavilion will host many immersive experiences to accompany the discovery of new watchmaking products.
Unlike the Geneva edition, with its numerous brands, this Chinese edition will host just 14 watchmaking houses, including Cartier, Charriol, Jaeger-Lecoultre and Vacheron Constantin.
Watches and Wonders Shanghai is a unique showcase for creative and dynamic watchmaking, promoting the industry through a variety of experiences.
The first three days of the show, by invitation only, will be reserved for retailers, the press and loyal brand customers. The general public is expected to attend for the first time on September 16 and 17.
An immersive journey
For a total immersion in the world of watchmaking, Watches and Wonders Shanghai offers a rich program of activities including conferences, expert panels, workshops and demonstrations of know-how.
The exhibition Quelle heure est-il ? by Karine Bauzin, straight from Geneva, will also be a must-see. Through some forty photographs, the artist asks randomly selected people around the world the time, and captures the moment of their response.
Tickets for this internationally renowned watchmaking event will be available from August via the official Watches and Wonders Wechat mini-program.
