The Crillon Hotel which re-opened last summer 2017, after four years of renovation, just became the 25th Palace in France.

Since 2010, the label Palace values these « exceptional » Five Star Hotels for five years, reminds Atout France in their announcement on Thursday.
The Crillon Hotel has been participating to the worldwide reputation of french excellence and savoir-faire in the hotel industry since 1909, and is even considered as one of the model of luxury in France.
There are now 25 Palaces in France.
Eleven in Paris : The Four Seasons Hotel George V, Hotel de Crillon, Hotel Plaza Athénée, La Réserve, The Bristol, The Meurice, The Mandarin Oriental, The Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme, The Royal Monceau-Raffles, The Shangri-La et The Peninsula.
Four are in the French Alpes : The Royal Évian in Évian-les-Bains, three of them being in Courchevel : The Cheval Blanc, The K2 et The Airelles.
Six on the French Riviera : The Byblos and the Château de la Messardière, both of them in Saint-Tropez, the Grand-Hôtel in Cap-Ferrat, the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in Antibes, the Bastide de Gordes and finally the Réserve, in Ramatuelle.
Three in the South-West of France : the Hotel du Palais in Biarritz, Les Sources de Caudalie in Martillac, Les Prés d’Eugénie Michel Guérard in Eugénie-les-Bains.
And one in the Carribean, the Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France in Saint-Barthélemy.
This label was created to regulate a designation previously free to use, and promote prestigious establishments on the international scene, where the competition is increasing.
To compete in this category, you must be a five-star establishment, have at least 12 months of activity and fulfill certain criteria related to a luxury establishment.
