Top Shopping Trends In Fashion Market, According to Lyst

The global platform Lyst, which analyzes online shopping behavior, has just unveiled its quarterly ranking, “The Lyst Index”. Focus on men’s trends for the second quarter of 2019.

Every three months, the Lyst platform unveils new fashion trends based on data provided by its search engine.

Thus, it analyzes nearly 5 million consumers, 12,000 creators, internet search statistics, sales conversion rates, mentions on social networks, etc.

For the second quarter of 2019, we can find in the ranking of the 10 most popular brands luxury specialist such as Saint Laurent (10th), Fendi (7th), Versace (6th) or Prada (5th).

In the top three, we can find two brands belonging to the Kering group: Balenciaga (3rd), which launched its new pair of Sneaker Track.2 and Gucci (1st) whose turnover has increased by 20% this quarter.

Off-White’s upmarket street wear brand completed the podium positions, placing second.

On the product side, there is also a ranking of the 10 most popular items which is composed of 5 pairs of Sneakers and a pair of clappers.

These 5 pairs of Sneakers are for 3 of them affiliated to Adidas with the Adidas x Raf Simons Ozweego Sneakers in Metallic Silver which occupies the 4th position.

The Beckenbauer All Round Originals are coming 2nd, and the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in collaboration with Kanye West are number 1 position.

The other items in the ranking are a Prada shirt and bob, a Gucci swim shorts and a Rimowa wheeled suitcase.

The rankings, especially that of the most popular products are necessarily influenced by the summer season.

In addition, Lyst’s report points to a growing demand for luxury beachwear.

According to the results, searches for clappers, swim shorts and bobs increased by 32%, 51% and 64% this quarter.

The best-performing category for men’s fashion is the one of the shoes, with the 5 pairs of Sneaker and the pair of clappers.
