The contemporary artist Daniel Arsham revisits the “Blue box”, the emblematic packaging of the jewelry house Tiffany & co.
Tiffany & Co has called on Daniel Arsham to “deconstruct” its famous blue box, so recognizable to the jewelry house’s fans. The artist is a jack of all trades: drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, video, scenography…and he transforms contemporary elements into petrified fossils.
This collaboration gives life to an exclusive series of 49 sculptures in eroded bronze. “I wanted to present it in a way that was different from the original intention by giving it a tormented, aged image that represents its history, how much it is part of our world today and how relevant it will continue to be for decades or even centuries to come.” said Daniel Arsham.

As a gift to unwrap, the container-style box includes the bronze sculpture box, which contains the Blue box that contains the Tiffany Knot x Arsham Studio bracelet. This is a limited edition 18k white gold bracelet with diamonds. It is part of the Tiffany Knot collection that pays tribute to New York City: inspired by the singular knots of the city’s fences. For lucky buyers, each bracelet will be delivered in the new blue eroded bronze box.
A life-size version of the box can also be found in the jeweler’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Visitors will be able to step inside the sculpture, through the end of October, and view an exhibition of the Tiffany Knot x Arsham Studio jewelry collection.
