The company MSCHF, which specializes in the sale of unusual products, offers Birkenstock sandals made from Hermes Birkin bags, for a price of up to $76,000.

 

MSCHF, founded in 2016, can boast an outstanding business activity. Indeed, the brand specializes in the sale of unusual products and surfs on the virality of the products on offer, which intrigues many Internet users on social networks.

 

The brand, based in Brooklyn, toured the Internet for its collaboration with the number one sportswear company, Nike, in October 2019. Worn by the singer Drake and became the seventh most sought-after model of the year, the pair of “Jesus shoesAir Max 97, whose soles contained holy water from the Jordan River, appeared online for $1,425.

 

The latest release (dubbed a “drop” by MSCHF designers) was the intriguing Birkenstocks sandals, nicknamed “Birkinstocks” and made from the House of Hermès‘ most iconic bag, the Birkin bag. This very limited version of the Birkenstocks Arizona sandals is available in black, white and burgundy red.

This unusual model of Birkenstocks sandals sells for up to 894 times more than the classic models of the classic Arizona sandals. The price depends on the type of bag used to make the sandals, ranging from $34,000 to $76,000, from Birkin cut-out bags, which can be priced as high as $500,000.

 

According to the New York Times, the model was not approved by Birkenstock and Hermès, but many art lovers (including rapper Future) have expressed interest in the limited edition. Available since February 8 through an online request, the Birkenstocks Arizona MSCHF-style is still intriguing collectors.
