Inspired by the sleek lines of automobiles and locomotives of the 1920s, the Streamliner collection from H.Moser & Cie aims to blend the codes of minimalism with contemporary elegance. The brand’s new model, the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar, is proof of this.
Launched in 2020, the Streamliner collection from H.Moser & Cie has been a dazzling success. It contains the new perpetual calendar movement developed by the brand.
Equipped with the hand-wound HMC 812 caliber, it has the same advantages as the HMC 341. A masterpiece of simplicity and ingenuity, the HMC 812 uses indexes to indicate the months by means of a small central hand in red and white. It guarantees a power reserve of 168 hours, displayed at 10 o’clock on the dial by means of an indicator.
The new Streamliner model, the Streamliner Perpetual Calendar has curved lines, referring to the first high-speed trains of the 20s and 30s that give it its name. It has a cushion-shaped steel case with a diameter of 42.3 mm, water-resistant to 12 ATM.
It is topped by a subtly curved sapphire crystal, Glassbox type, to which the transparent case back responds. Extending these curves, the integrated steel bracelet follows the line of the wrist, whose shape it follows, whatever the width of the wrist, thanks to its single-link design. The links, all articulated, are adorned with a slight wave combining vertical brushing with polished surfaces.
The bezel features a sunbrushed finish and alternating polished and brushed surfaces on the case.
On the periphery of the brand’s signature smoked dial, the white and red exterior minute track sets the pace for the center seconds hand. The second hand as well as the power reserve and month hands are reminiscent of car counters.
The price of this marvelous piece starts at 45,860 euros.
