The new luggage collection launched by Montblanc is the result of an original collaboration between the luxury pen manufacturer and the racing tire manufacturer Pirelli.

Fast, practical, aesthetic and ergonomic. These are the words that could describe the new line of luggage designed by Mont Blanc, at a time when airports are finally hoping to return to growth following the discovery of a vaccine against Covid-19.

Speed first, because the wheels of the new Mont Blanc suitcase were designed on Pirelli‘s P Zero tires. This allows the wheels to glide quickly and quietly – preventing resonance at airports – on all surfaces and to rotate 360 degrees.

With a shell made of lightweight polycarbonate, the luggage is also easy to transport. Despite its small size (38x55x23 cm) and a capacity of 37 liters, the suitcase can be stored in an upper storage compartment, which makes it very practical.

Aesthetic too, because the new Mont Blanc product has a brand new strap around the outside. The strap is not made of fabric, so it keeps things dry in case of rain. Its solidity is also an assurance that no object can be damaged by a baggage handler while transporting the suitcase.

Equipped with an adjustable telescopic handle and Pirelli tires, the luggage is particularly ergonomic. This is not the first time Montblanc has worked with a tire expert: last year, the firm headed by Nicolas Baretzki teamed up with BMW to create a set of five suitcases, all produced in Florence.

This year, the new suitcase from the Montblanc x Pirelli collection is available in a limited edition, at a price of $1,280.
