The Bugatti brand, which unites the artistic approach with technical innovations in the world of sport, is making a strong comeback with a new model tailored for the track. After breaking the track speed record in September with the Bugatti Chiron (420 km/h), the brand has now opted for a slower model (350 km/h), but one that is smarter and sportier: the Chiron Pur Sport is more suited to curves than long straights, and is more focused on aerodynamic performance. The new version is deliberately much lighter, saving more than 50 kilos compared to the previous model. This is thanks in particular to the production of ultra-thin titanium exhaust outlets thanks to 3D printing, the choice of magnesium red, the replacement of leather by Alcantara and the moving aileron system by a 1.90 m wide fixed part.
The Alsatian manufacturer’s aim is to reduce weight, with the aim of achieving greater gliding ability and better movement. A sportiness which is now worth more for the brand than speed alone.
A more radical orientation towards sport that comes at a price. More agile, more efficient, the Chiron Pur Sport is on sale from 3.2 million euros before tax and only 60 units are produced.
