While the Geneva Motor Show will not take place this year, following the decision of the Swiss federal authorities to ban any public or private event bringing together more than 1,000 people in a confined space, the Monaco Motor Show opens its doors this morning on spaces set up on the port (Quai Albert 1er).
Prince Albert II of Monaco has given his agreement for this event to take place despite the epidemic of coronavirus which is instilling real fear throughout Europe. Organized by the Monegasque company Expo Monaco founded by Thierry Hesse and his son Nicolas, this fourth edition is more than ever placed under the sign of electric mobility and new energies.
More than 70 exhibitors will enable visitors to discover and familiarize themselves with electrified technologies over four days. Several brands are offering to try out their new models. The show is important because it is one of the first appearances of the Porsche Taycan and the Volvo XC40 Plug-in Hybrid on our territory. It is also an opportunity to discover the great diversity of the range of electric vehicles.
Sports cars are not forgotten and the fourth edition of SIAM is an opportunity to approach the entire Lamborghini range but also the new Alpine A110. To have fun and test your driving skills, several racing simulators are available and an e-sport competition is organized by Virtual Speed.
