For its latest podcast, unveiled a few days ago, the Italian house of Gucci takes our senses and taste buds on a journey with chef Massimo Bottura, whose famous restaurant “Osteria Francescana” has been named the best restaurant in the world. A gourmet, creative and inspiring podcast that does great good in these times of confinement.

Gucci Podcasts were born in 2018 from the desire to question creativity in all its forms and to reflect on the different aspects of art. “The most natural thing for a creator, or for any artist, is to tell in their work who he is and where he comes from“, said Alessandro Michele, artistic director of the Italian company.

It was with curiosity then that we heard American soul singer Curtis Harding talking about music and song lyrics, curator Maria Luisa Frisa talk about Italian art and Renaissance architecture, and English pop icon Elton John talk about fashion and stage costumes. Podcasts all more inspiring than the others, which want to capture the most beautiful and creative things that cultural actors are doing around the world.

The final episode in a series of 28, the latest Gucci podcast brings together Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri and Michelin three-star chef Massimo Bottura. The reason of this meeting was the opening in February of a second restaurant, “Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura”, on the roof of the Gucci store on Rodeo Drive in Berverly Hills, California. The first, which opened in January 2018 in the Gucci Garden in Florence, had become a flagship venue for the Italian fashion house, subtly combining the restaurant with exhibition galleries and boutiques.

Those who are, first and foremost, childhood friends met in Los Angeles to discuss their creative endeavors and future projects together, but also more simply about friendship and childhood memories.

An informative podcast, which makes you think about the many facets of art – between gastronomy, fashion and luxury, and finally shows that creativity has no limits.
