[Luxus Magazine] The Lamborghini Countach from The Wolf of Wall Street could fetch $2 million at auction

The Lamborghini Countach, the Lamborghini supercar driven by Leonardo DiCaprio in the film The Wolf of Wall Street, will be auctioned by Sotheby’s in December. It could fetch over 2 million euros.

 

Sports cars are the talk of the town, both on the road and on the silver screen. After James Bond and Back to the Future, The Wolf of Wall Street is now attracting the interest of auction houses.

 

The Lamborghini Countach featured in Martin Scorsese’s film The Wolf of Wall Street will soon be auctioned by Sotheby’s. A true automotive jewel, its sale could fetch around $2 million.

 

 

If you’ve seen the film, it’s impossible not to remember the scene in which this magnificent car appears. It’s the funniest and most unusual scene. Leonardo DiCaprio (Jordan Belfort in the film) struggles hard to get into his Lamborghini, while inebriated. The vehicle pops up several other times in the film, notably in certain scenes where it has been intentionally crushed. But the model to be auctioned off is, of course, the original, with no scratches whatsoever!
