L’Aventure, a new 5-star establishment, is due to open soon at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe. Managed by Gilbert and Thierry Costes, the Beaumarly group is resuming its development after the break from covid. Other hotel projects are in the pipeline, notably in Knokke le Zoute (Belgium).
For the Beaumarly group, the adventure continues… “Coming soon… At the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, 5-star hotel, 24 rooms, Restaurant & Club“, it succinctly announces on its website.
The opening date is not yet known. But there is no doubt that his new Parisian establishment, called ‘L’Aventure’, combining his three areas of expertise (hotel, restaurant and club) is well in the pipeline for the group founded by the Costes Costes family.
According to Challenges magazine, the group is also preparing to open a hotel in Knokke-le Zoute, the famous chic Belgian seaside resort celebrated by Jacques Brel.
An offshoot of the Amour brand
Beaumarly is also considering continuing to develop its collection of hotels under the Amour banner. This banner, which is intended to be that of “places where art and fashion meet”, already includes two establishments in Paris (9th and 10th arrondissements) and one in Nice, near the Promenade des Anglais, where there is also its Amour restaurant and a private beach, Amour à la plage.
The hotel world is therefore eagerly awaiting the new achievements of the duo Gilbert Costes (74) and his son Thierry (48), whose names and the various establishments they manage are better known than that of the Beaumarly group.
A demanding DNA
Founded in 1994 by Gilbert Costes and his brother Jean-Louis, the Beaumarly group has since been joined at the helm by Thierry Costes. It has gone from strength to strength, with around thirty establishments in France, renowned for their demanding approach combining quality, design and innovation.

The most famous restaurants in Paris have taken over the capital’s most prestigious and touristy locations: the restaurants Georges Paris, perched on the roof of the Pompidou Centre, Loulou, in the gardens of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, L’Avenue or La Maison du Caviar, both next to the Champs-Elysées, the Brasserie Thoumieux (seventh arrondissement) or the gastronomic restaurant La Société, in Saint Germain des Prés, the Hôtel Costes, just off Place Vendôme in an 18th-century town house, the Café Beaubourg, Café Marly in the Louvre, the Café Ruc on rue Saint-Honoré or the Café Français on place de la Bastille…
This portfolio of select venues also includes some of Paris’s best-known clubs (Castel, Club Matignon...).
Thanks to its unique DNA, the Beaumarly group has never ceased to win over the VIPs of Paris and beyond. According to Challenges, the group, which employs 1,300 people, has sales of 100 million euros.
