Les Places d’Or exhibition in Paris a success

Les Places d’Or, the luxury design and packaging exhibition, closed its doors after three days of success. Visitors from the luxury sector were able to meet some 60 design agencies and suppliers in a friendly atmosphere.

The exhibition, which celebrated its 25th anniversary this year, was opened by Franck Marilly, CEO and President EMEA of Shiseido. This edition welcomed more than 3000 visitors over 3 days. 8 out of 10 visitors are decision-makers on packaging projects.

We discover new shapes, new materials, new colours and very pretty things,” says Franck Marilly.

For 25 years, this show has offered guests the opportunity to be inspired by luxury packaging trends. The entire production chain is represented: this year 18 new designers, manufacturers and craftsmen came to enrich the exhibition.

One of the specificities of the exhibition is to create bridges between the worlds of industry and luxury and fashion.

Visitors were able to discover Lucie Touré’s decorative paper creations, which she has worked with prestigious haute couture houses. You could also admire exclusive pieces made by the Exceli workshop, a specialist in gold borders, in collaboration with the Gainerie 91 workshop.
