The Gainerie 91 group has just announced that it is pursuing its eco-responsible approach by signing a partnership with Authentic Material, a company specializing in the design and production of innovative upcycled materials.
The Gainerie 91 group, a leader in packaging and merchandising for all sectors of the luxury goods industry (watches, perfumes & cosmetics, jewellery, wines & spirits) combines its know-how with Authentic Material, the leading manufacturer of exceptional natural materials.
In the Montgeron (Essonne) workshop, Gainerie 91 has been supporting luxury houses for more than fifty years in the design and creation of displays under bracelets, necklaces, rings, watches, etc. The boxes, sometimes even the bags, were designed in the Bac d’Ablon area. “Being an integrator of know-how is at the heart of our innovation strategy in order to support our customers in the transition we are going through,” said Arnaud Haefelin, President of Gainerie 91.
The company’s clients include some of the biggest names in the luxury industry such as Chaumet, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.
For its part, the company Authentic Material, founded in 2016, works with noble materials that are unexploited and/or doomed to be destroyed, with the aim of turning them into high-quality materials with new technical and aesthetic properties. “This agreement will allow the company to penetrate the packaging market, and to introduce us to luxury houses for which we do not yet work,” explains Noémie Dumesnil, Director of Operations of Authentic Material.
The objective is to accompany luxury houses in an eco-responsible approach, with particular attention to their environmental impact. “This partnership is an opportunity to innovate on new materials to put them at the service of our creations for the major luxury brands,“explains Arnaud Haefelin.
Reducing the negative impact of activities has become a real imperative, and a new challenge for companies.
This partnership will thus make it possible to offer a wider choice of products and materials (especially sustainable ones) to luxury companies, allowing them to turn towards an eco-responsible approach, while remaining in line with their customers’ demands.
