The chain of luxury hotels, spread around the world, is embarking on a new adventure with Four Seasons Yachts. Real luxury cruises in idyllic settings and unusual places.
Four Seasons Yatches “caters to discerning guests who want to reimagine their love of travel by experiencing the splendor of modern ocean travel.”
This new marine and luxury concept is expected to be available to the public from the end of 2025. The yachts, which will be used to make this unique program operational, are currently under construction in Italy, in the city of Trieste.
Luxury surfing the waves
To this end, Four Seasons Yachts has chosen to surround itself with the best. The Fincantieri shipbuilding group will contribute its engineering and know-how to build its vessels.
Industry expert Larry Pimentel and luxury entrepreneurs Nadim Ashi and Philip Levine are also leading the project.
Under the creative direction of Prosper Assouline, Sweden’s Tillberg Design and London’s Design Studio will oversee the design of the exteriors and suites.
The first ship will have 14 decks and 95 suites. A true open-air hotel, allowing to enjoy the benefits of a cruise in a certain intimacy. Far from the huge liners that welcome thousands of tourists.
True to the Four Seasons environment, this yacht is as luxurious as it gets. The cost of creating a suite is around 4.5 million euros. According to the group’s management, in the interest of “privacy, flexibility and space,” the cabin designs have been thought out to create villa-like spaces, almost making passengers forget they are on the water. In each room, large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking view. These accommodations will start at 54 m2, and the largest of them, a four-level suite called “Funnel”, will offer more than 890 m2.
This future hotel on the water will feature several restaurants and bars, a spa, a wellness program and two pools, one of which can be transformed into an outdoor movie theater.
Four Seasons goes green (and blue)
Sustainability is one of the group’s goals. The ship will use green fuels, energy sources with zero emissions or with air emissions far better than international standards. And in the future, Four Seasons plans to incorporate even more green technology.
