Second-hand watch specialist Cresus goes new

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Cresus, the leader in second-hand watches, now offers brand new items.

The French retailer Cresus, an expert in second-hand watches for over 20 years, completes its offer with a selection of watch brands sold in new condition. Launched in 1993 by Christian Odin, the brand was acquired in 2017 by Maximilien Urso, a specialist in the purchase of luxury watches.

The Cresus retailer already boasted a large catalog of luxury watch brands, including Rolex, Patek Philippe, Omega, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Breitling, IWC, as well as major jewelry houses such as Cartier, Chopard, Hermès, Chanel, and Bulgari. Once authenticated, each second-hand model sold by the house is first refurbished and guaranteed for two years.

While the secondhand market has been very successful in recent years, and the largest watch and jewelry houses, such as Bucherer, are launching second-hand sales, Cresus is taking this trend in stride and now offers new models.

Several partners have already been announced, such as Hegid, Ralf Tech, Chaykin, and the French retailer plans to further expand its catalog of new models in the coming months. Cresus chooses to present independent watchmaking houses in order to offer its customers an “alternative” offered to those already present on the market.

These watch brands will be on sale on the Cresus online site, as well as in its six boutiques spread throughout France (Lyon, Paris, Lille, Aix-en-Provence, and Bordeaux).
