Saudi Arabia: The Kingdom’s first Grand Hyatt hotel opens its doors

This opening marks the first Grand Hyatt brand hotel in Saudi Arabia.

 

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of the Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences in Saudi Arabia, the first Grand Hyatt hotel in the Kingdom. The 368-room luxury hotel, comprising 54 residential apartments, is located in the heart of Al Khobar’s commercial and retail center, with a connecting bridge to Al Rashid Mall.

 

Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences is the sixth Hyatt branded hotel in Saudi Arabia and the fifth Grand Hyatt branded hotel in the Middle East, making it an important step in Hyatt’s growth strategy in the region.

 

Reflecting a bold and dynamic design, the hotel offers an ideal destination for both business and leisure guests.

 

With Saudi Arabia being one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the world, Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel and Residences is realizing the government’s Vision 2030 to attract international travelers to the region. Located in the city’s business and leisure center, the property features beautifully appointed luxury accommodations.

The hotel will open in stages, it has just started with 120 rooms and 20 residences. Highlights of this first phase include the opening of the all-day dining facilities, lobby lounge, banquet rooms, fitness center and spa. The remaining rooms as well as the Rosalie and Sakana House restaurants are scheduled to open in a second phase in February 2021. The third and final phase will see the opening of the remaining residences, scheduled for March 2021.
