Ritz Paris launches a confidential and select dinner

Aperitif in an unknown place, confidential gastronomic dinner under its Marie-Louise glass roof, the Ritz Paris proposes an exceptional evening, this Thursday May 25. A unique experience reserved for a handful of 20 people.

The evening of May 25 will be unforgettable for a handful of privileged gastronomes.

The Ritz Paris has concocted an extraordinary program for them.

On the menu, first of all, an aperitif that will take place in an undisclosed location. On the other hand, the names of the domain of excellence whose great wines will be served, Domaine Prieuré Roch, are well known. But also those of the conductors of this oenological concert, namely Yannick Champ, the co-manager of Domaine Prieuré Roch and Florian Guilloteau, the Director of the Sommellerie of the Ritz Paris.

Behind the Prieuré Saint Roch are some great Burgundy wines, such as the Clos Goillotte and the Clos des Corvées, belonging to the famous families of Vosne-Romanée and Nuits-Saint Georges.

A feast for the taste buds

After this already exceptional start, the guests will go to the five-star hotel under its Marie Louise glass roof.

Their taste buds will be carried away by the menu imagined by Chef Jérôme Legras, accompanied, once again, by the best wines of Domaine Prieuré Roch: Gevrey-Chambertin “le clos des varoilles monopole” 2020, Nuit-Saint-Georges 1er CRU Clos des Corvées Monopole of 2008, etc.

After an introduction of fine grilled green asparagus, and shredded bottarga with a ginger hollandaise sauce, the happy guests will tackle the main course, either as a fish, an Omble Chevalier “à la royale” with a declination of spring vegetables and red pepper, or, on the meat side, a roasted Apicius squab with its stuffed pointed cabbage and round Parisian carrots

Double the pleasure at the end

After the cheese, the guests will be able to taste a double final pleasure, a pre-dessert, a floating cocoa island, and a dessert, namely a thin sheet of chocolate and meringue with its cocoa nib ice cream.

Finally, no question of counting your sips at the table. A driver will be provided for the participants of this iconic dinner to return home, head and heart satisfied. To be part of this circle of gourmets on May 25, one must, one suspects, hurry to make a reservation at the cost of 750 euros per person. Because there will not be enough for everyone…
