Qatar continues its development in the luxury hotel industry

Qatar Tourism has unveiled its proposal for the development of luxury hotels in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.

 

Luxury hotels, theme parks, a shopping mall and leisure projects, in relation to the approaching World Cup, here are the new projects announced by Qatar Tourism.

 

Indeed, Qatar will soon host a shopping mall named Place Vendôme with about 580 points of sale. It will also present the first entertainment island of the country, “Qetaifan Island North“.

Berthold Trinkel, Chief Operating Officer of Qatar Tourism, said, “We continue to expand our tourism offering and are excited to introduce guests to the best of Qatari hospitality. In 2019, we welcomed over two million visitors to Qatar, and we hope to see similar growth trends now as we welcome visitors back to the country.”

 

With less than a year to go until the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar continues to expand further with new luxury hotels, soccer stadiums as well as new restaurants. Indeed, it is Qatar’s turn to host the FIFA World Cup very soon.

 

The luxury hotels that should be built very soon are : Raffles Hotel, Fairmont Hotel & Resort, Bliss Vendome and Rosewood Doha. Currently, there are also more than one hundred luxury hotels and apartments under construction in Qatar, showing their investment and strategy to develop the country’s tourism sector.
