After the release of its platform dedicated to beauty -Prada Beauty-, Prada launches its first line of makeup and care. This offer will be available on its website as well as from October in France at high-end retailers and department stores.
A year ago, the Milanese label unveiled Prada Beauty, its new platform dedicated to beauty, launched at the same time as the Paradoxe eau de parfum. For this, it has partnered with the luxury arm of the L’Oréal group, which has acquired the brand’s Beauty license since January 2021.
This launch marked a first step in the brand diversification strategy. Today, or rather tomorrow, it will reveal its very first line of makeup and care products.

However, this is not the first time Prada has explored this universe. In 2004, the company released its first perfume, then a line of cosmetics, which was stopped some time later. This year, she is back in the big bath of beauty, with a wide range of skincare and makeup, all positioned in a luxury segment.
For the Care range, Prada relies on a patented complex ( Adapto.gnSmart Technology) that helps the skin to adapt to its environment in real time, thanks to the use of adaptogenic plants. These plants, used for millennia, are full of benefits that help regulate the body to fight many ailments.
This line of treatments called Prada Augmented Skin includes a day and night cream (between 290 and 360 euros), a face and eyes serum (370 euros) or a cleanser (95 euros).
And because Prada attaches particular importance to finishes, both in fashion and in beauty, the formulations are scented with one of the many fragrances created for Prada by the perfumer Daniela Andrier.
The range of makeup named Prada Reveal begins with an assortment of 33 shades of foundation (60 euros per unit). It uses a patented technology that is supposed to optimize light diffusion with an intelligent molecule. It also includes an offer of 26 rechargeable lipstick shades (45 euros and 35 euros per refill) called simply Prada Couleur, as well as a palette of eyeshadow and some accessories.
With this new line of beauty and care, Prada follows in the footsteps of the L’Oréal cosmetics leader, who is now based on green and sustainable science, with as many natural ingredients as possible, reusable and reusable packaging.
These collections could generate 25 to 30% of the brand’s total activity, or 250 million euros in annual sales.
