Pharrell Williams x Jacob & Co: a sparkling auction

In a few days, Pharrell Williams will auction some of his jewelry created in close collaboration with the jeweler Jacob & Co. They will start online at Joopiter.com, from October 20.

 

The famous interpreter of “Happy” organizes an auction named Son of Pharaoh. He separates from a part of his iconic jewels, created by Jacob & Co, the famous American jeweler.

 

P Diddy, Eminem or Jay Z have something to be jealous of. The collection of high jewelry of Pharrell Williams is unique in its kind: original creations, set with diamonds and precious stones, colorful and imposing.

 

Iconic pieces in this collaboration include the original NERD pendant, the TENNIS necklace in Asscher-cut platinum and a diamond-studded FIVE TIME ZONE watch, the famous Jacob & CO model, with five dials displaying the time in five different countries. These are vibrant reminders of the genius of Jacob Arabo, the creator of the brand, as well as of the singer’s originality. And a golden opportunity to acquire these pieces, for the lucky ones.

 

The auction will start on the Joopiter platform, an online auction house, which will offer about 50 pieces. For Williams, these collectible jewels are “like talismans and witnesses that release a kind of energy“. They represent only a small part of the singer’s collection, which he has been able to purchase or custom order from the jeweler for many years. The full selection will include no less than 100 pieces.

 

He adds, “To collect is to showcase a set of values and ethical intelligence while spending.” This motto? He applies it to perfection, which has led him to befriend the brand’s creator for thirty years. The New York-based company, which is present in more than 30 countries, has become the artist’s official jewelry supplier and it is thanks to this label that he has been able to develop this sparkling collection that “defies representation, ownership and taste.

 

A portion of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Black Ambition Foundation, founded by Pharrell Williams, which supports and assists ethnic minority entrepreneurs in the United States.
