Paris Shop & Design 2022 Awards: discover the 2022 winners

The Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry has just announced the winners of the 8th edition of its Paris Shop & Design award. This award recognizes the most successful initiatives in terms of sales space design and public reception.

 

To strengthen the attractiveness and international influence of the capital, the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry is developing actions to encourage brands and retailers to design renewed and inspiring sales spaces.

 

With the Paris Shop & Design award, the winners can promote and enhance their achievements among professionals by benefiting from great visibility, thanks to the support of important partners such as the City of Paris, the Order of Architects in Ile-de-France, the Paris Tourism and Convention Authority, APSYS and Maison & Objet.

 

The winners

 

In the food stores section, Copains, an organic bakery and pastry shop, takes the prize. Located at 60 rue Tiquetonne in the 2nd arrondissement, the store belongs to Baptiste Borne and Giovanni Amico.  Its design was created by Retail Partners (cover photo)

For wellness/health/beauty, the winner is Bâton Rouge, a shop where you can create your own custom lipstick. Designed by the company Orsini Daventure, it is located at 50 rue des Francs-Bourgeois in the 3rd arrondissement.

On the Culture/Leisure side, the creative impulse space We Are_ was awarded. Located at 73 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in the 8th district, the space was decorated by Atelier D’Archi.

The 39V Paris won the prize for Hotels/Cafes/Restaurants. Decorated by the designer Raphaël Navot, this contemporary haven of peace is located at 39 avenue George V.

For Home and Decoration, the winner is the Marie Daâge boutique, which offers decoration and tableware. The shop, redesigned by Gilles Viard, is located at 12 rue de Tournon, in the 6th arrondissement.

Finally, the fashion store that seduced the jury is none other than the men’s ready-to-wear brand Faguo, located at 17 Boulevard Vaugirard, in the 15th. It was designed by the studio Fairly.

New this year, the jury decided to award a special prize to La Samaritaine (Paris 1st). The reopening in June 2021 of the store, a key location in Parisian commerce, was a major event in commercial architecture in the capital. The department store was redesigned by Hubert de Malherbe and Yabu Pushelberg.
