OTB, the Italian fashion group (Diesel, Maison Martin Margiela, Marni, Jil Sander, Viktor & Rolf), posted Tuesday a sales growth of 12% in 2022.

OTB (Only the Brave) is continuing its strong momentum. Helped by strong sales growth in North America and Asia-Pacific, the Italian group with a rich and varied portfolio of fashion houses (Diesel, Maison Martin Margiela, Marni, Jil Sander, Viktor & Rolf …) posted an annual turnover up 12% to 1.74 billion euros ($ 1.87 billion).

In addition, the Italian group posted a net profit of 105 million euros for 2022, up 72% from 2021.

Forecasts for the coming years indicate continued growth for the entire luxury industry,” said OTB Chairman Renzo Rosso.

Thriving projects

After the creation of a company in the metaverse in 2021, the Italian luxury group had announced last September that it wanted to go public in early 2025: “We have been thinking about going public for a while, it has always been our ambition” said Ubaldo Minelli, CEO of the group.

Some time later, the company presented a first report, dedicated to its impact and ambitions in terms of environment and social commitments.

More recently, Only the Brave joined the Fashion Pact, which brings together several fashion and luxury companies making commitments to reduce their environmental impact. A membership that represents another step forward in the group’s sustainability strategy.

More recently, the group has confirmed its interest in potential acquisitions, without disclosing any names for the moment.
