On the occasion of the month of photography, the NAG gallery welcomes a selection of confirmed and emerging photographers: Jean-Daniel Lorieux; Benjamin Deroche; Karen Paulina Biswell; Isabelle Chapuis; Pierre Ollier. Not a Gallery also invites you to discover the sculptures of Bronislaw Krzysztof staged with the works of Olivier Dassault.
Jean-Daniel Lorieux, myth of fashion photography, has been collaborating for more than 20 years with the greatest fashion designers such as Dior, Céline, Lanvin, Paco Rabanne and Pierre Cardin. He imposes his style with highly contrasting photographs, bringing out a distinguished aestheticism. In particular, he produced the emblematic cover of the Official in 1970, highlighting the actress Li Sellgren and the Fashion by Paco Rabanne collection.
For her part, Isabelle Chapuis photographs bodies. Graduated in 2005 from ESAG-Penninghen in graphic arts, she then spent long periods in Asia and the Middle East, allowing her to confront other realities. His gaze then turned to creations combining portraiture and staging. It features a sensitive dialogue between the skin and carefully chosen materials to serve emotion.
Bronislaw Krzysztof, for his part, focuses his work as a sculptor on the experimentation of materials. It shapes metal by giving the illusion of flesh. His monumental silhouettes oscillate between abstraction and figuration. His works have been exhibited in more than 150 group exhibitions and more than 40 solo exhibitions worldwide. Krzysztof also designs for the cosmetics brand Sisley in Paris.
