Marco Marchi wishes to concentrate all Italian “excellence” in holding company Eccellenze Italiane. To prevent another “Italian treasure from passing into foreign hands“, Marco Marchi acquired Blufin, the Italian fashion house founded by Anna Molinari and her late husband Gianpaolo Tarabini.
The Blufin group, owner of the Blumarine, Anna Molinari and Be Blumarine brands, is now present in 50 countries and its collections are distributed in more than 500 points of sale, including 31 monobrand stores and shop-in-shops around the world.
“It’s a dream, my vision of entrepreneurship is coming true: bringing together high-end brands that share a strong character and growth potential in order to make them more competitive on the international scene. “, explains Marco Marchi. “A major reorganization awaits us, and a relaunch, which should give a new breath of fresh air to this extraordinary Italian house. In five years, we hope to achieve a turnover of 50 million euros“.
Blumarine is even expected to return to Milan for Fashion Week in September 2020.
Blufin ended 2018 with a turnover of 70 million euros.
