Marc Brunel appointed General Manager of the French Leather Council

The French Leather Council (Conseil National du Cuir) has appointed Marc Brunel as director of the professional confederation, succeeding Béatrice Rousseau.

 

With a career spanning more than 20 years in the leather industry, where he has held various positions of major importance, Marc Brunel has been elected to head the CNC.

 

Recruited by the CNC in 1999 as director of communication, Mr. Brunel has since organized various trade shows around the leather industry.

 

He developed the APLF (Asia Pacific Leather Fair) in Hong Kong and the ACLE (All China Leather Exhibition) in Shanghai. These fairs are organized in partnership with the INFORMA group.

 

In 2001, Marc Brunel participated in the launch of the “Le cuir à Parisfair, which he supervised as general curator. He was transferred to Première Vision in 2014.

 

A graduate of the Institut Supérieur d’Ingénierie et de Gestion de l’Environnement (ISIGE) of the École des Mines de Paris, he places CSR and sustainable development issues at the heart of his commitments.

 

Today, Marc Brunel is back at the CNC and he accompanies the president Frank Boehly and the various subsidiaries in order to promote their commitment to the public authorities and to highlight the know-how of the tanning industry in France.
