The Made in France Première Vision trade show returns this September 1st and until tomorrow evening at the Carreau du Temple in Paris. Objectives of this 18th edition are to accompany the recovery of French industry and bring its territories through a selection of 98 exhibitors.
While the Premiere Vision textile trade show, initially scheduled for September 15-16 at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, had to cancel its physical edition due to the reinforcement of health measures taken to fight the pandemic, its session dedicated to manufacturers, finishers, accessories suppliers, fashion designers and knitters operating in France, Première Vision Made in France, is being held on September 1 and 2 at the Carreau du Temple in Paris.
The show, which meets the government’s requirements for organizing events for less than 5,000 people, will be the first professional event on the fashion industry’s agenda this fall, at a time when the government’s commitment to domestic manufacturing is becoming increasingly strong.
The show offers a range of products for fashion brands and designers looking for exclusivity and differentiation, specialized industrial skills, or traditional and innovative know-how. And this, through 8 poles: Accessories; Components; Finishers; Shapers, Knitters; Raw Materials Professional Organizations and Training; Creative Technology and Services.
The event thus aims to question the stakes of Made in France through exclusive events and in situ meetings.
During these two days, the show will showcase all the territories of the French fashion industry and their know-how thanks to the skills and expertise identified by a Selection Committee.
The objective being for professionals looking for French industrial skills and expertise to be able to connect.
Government stimulus plan: a godsend for Made In France?
After a health crisis that has seriously affected the economy, the Prime Minister outlined to the Medef the main lines of the recovery plan, focused on supply and investment.
On Wednesday, August 26, Prime Minister Jean Castex confirmed, at the opening of the Medef summer university, that the recovery plan to be unveiled Thursday, September 3 will ease the tax burden on businesses.
The government also plans to cut production taxes by 10 billion euros from 1 January 2021.
To do this, the contribution on the value of companies (CVAE) will be halved and the cap on the territorial economic contribution (CET) as a share of added value will be reduced “from 3% today to 2% tomorrow“.
In addition, “from 2021, the method of property taxation of industrial premises will be reviewed to halve the tax burden,” said Jean Castex.
Will this series of measures be a godsend for the made in France?
Amandine Hesse, president of the Independent Federation of Made in France (FIMIF), believes that “clearly, it will be beneficial, because these proposals aim, by indirect means, to boost production in France. It’s good for the industry”.
For her part, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, in charge of Industry, will speak at the conference on Tuesday, September 1 at 3 pm on the revival of French industry.
Note that on its edition of 3 and 4 April 2019, the exhibition Made In France has experienced a record attendance and had more than 3400 visitors seeking skills and industrial expertise. In particular, were present, professionals of high-end fashion and luxury: big names in luxury, young designers, costume designers, fashion houses, but also brands of fashion, accessories, lingerie, sportswear, furniture and cosmetics.
