The luxury giant announced Thursday the payment of a bonus to its employees. Between 1000 and 1500 euros for the most modest.
Against a backdrop of high inflation in France and an energy crisis, the LVMH group and its companies have announced the payment of a bonus on the September salary for 27,000 of their employees.
This new measure is aimed at all employees based in France whose gross salary is less than or equal to three times the minimum wage, or 60,000 euros.
This amount is in addition to the 600 to 1,000 euros of exceptional bonus already paid in January 2022, the group said in a statement.
In total, the world leader in luxury will pay more than 400 million euros for its employees.
These decisions are in addition to other existing schemes in the various houses of the group, which allow in particular, via the agreements of participation and profit-sharing, to involve employees in the performance of their company.
But LVMH is not the only generous company to announce special measures in these difficult times. The Stellantis group (merger between PSA and Fiat), TotalEnergies or the SNCF have also decided to offer additional help to their employees.
