LVMH has announced a huge recruitment plan, with no less than 25,000 young people under the age of thirty to be hired by the end of 2022, including at least 2,500 permanent contracts in France.

At a time when access to employment is difficult, particularly for young people, whether graduates or not, the announcement by Bernard Arnault’s LVMH group should interest many. The number one French luxury goods company is planning to recruit no less than 25,000 young people under the age of thirty by the end of next year, whether on internships, work-study programmes or permanent contracts.

To provide the means to meet this objective, LVMH is strengthening its action plans for young people in all their diversity. The Group is opening a platform for all young people, regardless of their background, a pilot of which was launched in the spring, designed to provide them with a better understanding of the challenges and professions of the luxury industry, so that they can project themselves more easily. A training course is also offered on the platform.

Similarly, the company intends to emphasise the “Métiers d’excellence” programme, which aims to intensify the transmission of unique skills, particularly to the younger generation, in order to develop their employability. The aim is to attract the younger generation to the know-how professions. In addition to its commitment to youth employment, the LVMH group is using this opportunity to raise awareness of its professions and talents. The luxury industry is increasingly keen to make room for young people.
