The Parisian jewelry house Djula began its selective distribution and opened its first boutique in the prestigious SKP Beijing, the department store dedicated to international luxury brands in the heart of Beijing.
Located on the first floor of the shopping mall, the one dedicated to jewelry and fine jewelry, the shop is based on the concept of the House of Djula: Art Deco style, contrasting black and white, sandblasted glass and perfect harmony between metal and marble.
The boutique’s architecture echoes the Parisian Jeweller’s know-how. The flagship collections, such as Barbelé, Soleil, Fairy Tale, Mix and Match and Magic Touch, designed by Alexandre Corrot, are on display.
“To make Djula a global brand, it became essential to establish a presence in Asia and to work with a financial partner capable of giving us the benefit of its relationships and its understanding of local consumer trends,” explains Alexandre Corrot, the founder and artistic director of Djula. “Our project is now to open about fifteen stores in the next 12 months in the main Chinese cities to establish the brand.”
In March 2020, the jewelry house is already accelerating its growth with the entry into the capital of Yuyuan Jewelry & Fashion Group, a subsidiary of the Chinese group FOSUN. The subsidiary Yuyuan Jewelry & Fashion Group will acquire a 55.4% stake in Djula and will invest 26 million euros to accelerate the company’s development in China and abroad.
Djula therefore continues to expand internationally, and is still well represented in Paris with 7 boutiques.
Djula jewelry is also available for sale on the jewelry house’s website.
