Every year for 30 years, premium packaging manufacturers have gathered in Monaco for Luxe Pack Monaco. This 2021 edition will take place from September 27 to 29, with design, environment and digital innovation as main themes.
Luxe Pack Monaco will take place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco and will bring together more than 450 exhibitors from 98 countries, more than 9000 visitors and more than 70 expert speakers.
Among the exhibitors will be Gainerie 91, the luxury packaging expert, Metropack and Glory. The sectors are very varied, from watchmaking to fashion, from delicatessen to perfume or cosmetics.
There will also be conferences over the three days, including “LUXE PACK Trends Observer by Peclers: Tomorrow’s design: from timeless to smart performance” scheduled to start on September 27 at 11am with Clarissa Scalisi, Trend Forecaster for Peclers as a speaker.
But also, “Packaging & plastic: what future in the luxury sector? Can we totally or partially ignore plastic in the short, medium or long term? How will its role be reinvented within a more environmentally friendly packaging of the future? What will be the impact on the life cycle of the material and the product?
Speakers will include Alain Pierron, Head of Development at Faiveley Plast, David Bayard, Technical and Sustainable Packaging Development Director at L’Occitane, and Jacques Playe, Global Head of Packaging and Product Development at L’Oréal. The latter is also the Top speaker of this 2021 edition and member of the Luxe Pack in Green jury.
There will also be a conference on the “Mutation of the Luxury Sector: Trends and Statistics behind the Sustainability Revolution” with two renowned experts (Amy Nelson-Bennett, Managing Director at Positive Luxury and Matteo Capellini, Associate Partner at Bain & Company) who will share the latest figures to get a global view of sustainability trends in the luxury sector. They will decipher consumer expectations and sustainability issues in the luxury sector.
Luxe Pack will unveil an animation space and a Think Thank on innovative materials from French research through the CARATS network (CARnot Appui Technique et Scientifique). Six projects will be presented with different innovations such as the Sublimation of matter by the control of the laser through the mirror, the creation of new biodegradable polymers associated with gold nanoparticles, or the know-how of the vegetable and cosmetic touch.
