After a 100% digital version in February 2021, the models made their big return on the English catwalks for this London Fashion Week.

The London Fashion Week closes today for the spring-summer 2022 collections with 28 shows presented. However, we note the absence of the collections of Victoria Beckham and of the Burberry House.

This international event returns to mark the long-awaited cultural reopening of London,” said the British Fashion Council.

Among the brands expected, we find the Albanian designer Nensi Dojaka, winner of the LVMH 2021 Prize. The graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, she opened Fashion Week with her very first show.

Accustomed to black looks, she turned to color and expanded her feminine and sexy wardrobe, which is her identity, with oversized blazers and transparency.

Oscar de la Renta played on flowers in all their forms: like abstract paintings, they are represented in crochet or oversize on silk dresses. Sequins and volumes are also part of glamorous evening gowns.

Simone Rocha, who celebrates this year the 10th anniversary of her eponymous brand, proposed very Japanese silhouettes inspired by manga and English embroidery, volume with pleats and ruffles. There are also many overlays and oversized jackets.

Tom Ford didn’t skip the color and also proposed a men’s collection during his show. Layering is the order of the day with a mix of shimmering colors, sequins and a revival of the 2000s in the cuts.

Finally, Rodarte also relies on transparency and lingerie effect, some sequins and oversized flowers to finish on a note of declination of nudes for their outdoor performance.
