Kering appoints Mehdi Benabadji as head of Brioni

On December 17, 2019, Kering announced the appointment of Mehdi Benabadji as head of its Italian brand Brioni.

Indeed, Mehdi Benabadji will replace Fabrizio Malverdi, who wanted to leave “to pursue a new professional project,” the luxury group said in a statement.

 

Mehdi Benabadji, working in the Kering group since 2003 and held several positions, as director of operations, in charge of logistics and industrial operations for the group.

 

He knows Brioni well from his time as Director of Strategy and Development of the House after its acquisition by Kering in 2011.

 

It’s new role will mainly be “to consolidate Brioni’s repositioning and to support its international development,” said Kering.
