IWC has just launched its worldwide advertising campaign for the release of its Big Pilot watch. For the occasion, the Swiss watchmaker called on the seven-time Formula 1 world champion, Lewis Hamilton.
Ambassador of the Swiss watchmaker IWC since 2013, Lewis Hamilton is the muse of the new advertising campaign for the Big Pilot Aviator Watch. This new campaign tells the story of the meteoric rise of pilot Lewis Hamilton and his commitment to social injustice.
IWC‘s Big Pilot Watch was first unveiled in 2002, and has become one of the watchmaker‘s signature collections. The new collection also includes a collaboration with Mercedes-AMG, the Chronograph Pilot’s Watch “AMG“ Edition at-casinos.com/.
“Today, we are proud to permanently integrate Mercedes-AMG into our collection of Aviator Watches, starting with the AMG Edition Chronograph Aviator Watch,” explained Christoph Grainger-Herr, CEO of IWC Schaffhausen.
For example, in the brand’s latest campaign, player Lewis Hamilton wears the Grande Montre d’Aviateur 43 (reduced size), the Grande Montre d’Aviateur Top Gun Edition “Mojave Desert“, the Grande Montre d’Aviateur Perpétuel Calendar and the Montre d’Aviateur Chronographe 41.
The visuals for the new campaign are by Nigerian-born British photographer Misan Harriman, who became the first black person to shoot a cover of British Vogue in its 104-year history.
