Interparfums raises its targets for 2022 and 2023

The perfume group expects to increase its sales by 20% to 670 million euros for the year 2022.

The manufacturer and distributor of prestige perfumes, Interparfums, was among the biggest risers on the SBF 120 at 4.54% (€53). This follows their expectation of “strong growth” in 2022, above expectations at the beginning of the year. The expected turnover is around 670-680 million euros for 2022 instead of the 640-650 million projected and between 710-720 million euros for the year 2023.

In 2023, a launch plan rich in new initiatives, particularly for the group’s historic brands, will support activity throughout the year.

Against a backdrop of sustained demand for its flagship lines, this performance illustrates “the appeal of the portfolio’s brands to consumers, led by Montblanc, Jimmy Choo and Coach, whose growth will exceed 20% in 2022,” according to Invest Securities.

Philippe Benacin, Chairman and CEO, explains the reasons for these target increases: “Thanks to constant monitoring of the supply chain, we have been able to respond effectively to sustained customer demand in recent weeks. And with continued strong activity in the US, above our September forecast, we have again raised our sales target for 2022. Despite the current uncertainties, this momentum gives us confidence for the future.”
