In Saint-Denis, the Pleyel Tower will be transformed into a luxury hotel

A fixture of the Paris suburbs for years, the Pleyel Tower in Saint-Denis is to be transformed into a luxury hotel for the 2024 Olympic Games.

The Pleyel Tower in Saint Denis is moving into another dimension, in order to be ready for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. Emptied of its occupants in 2010, completely cleaned out and dismantled of asbestos, the Tower is preparing to begin its new life in just over a year. “La Financière des quatre rives“, which is managing the project for “Pleyel Investissement”, has decided to transform it into a 700-room luxury hotel with a panoramic bar and rooftop swimming pool.

On 31 December 2023, the keys to the skyscraper will be handed over to the German group “H-Hotels“, which will set up its first business in France. The hotel must be ready for the 2024 Olympic Games, whose athletes’ village is being built a few hundred metres away.

Two new buildings will be constructed around it: the first will include offices and shops. It will be built alongside a 25-storey tower that will house workspaces and a conference centre.

This real estate programme is part of the spectacular transformation of this area of the Paris suburbs, located between the ring road and the A86 motorway. The density of projects per square metre is unparalleled in France, and even in Europe. And no less than four metro lines will intersect not far from there.
