Gucci is celebrating its centennial in style this year. Among the surprises of the luxury brand to celebrate this anniversary is a limited edition collaboration with the toy brand Hot Wheels.
Gucci delivers an amazing partnership to mark its 100th anniversary: the automotive toy brand Hot Wheels has been chosen to make a limited edition miniature car.
The miniature replicates the Cadillac Seville by Gucci, in 1:64 scale. Designed by Guccio Gucci’s son Aldo, this limited edition Cadillac was first introduced in 1979. It features a monogrammed roof and the classic Gucci logo and intertwined GG motif, even including the gold piping on the seats, a remarkable attention to detail.

Since we’re talking about luxury, this rare collectible comes packaged in the Italian brand’s own designed acrylic display, packaged in an authentic Gucci box and cover, with the brand’s signature green paper. Hot Wheels Casting Designers Bryan Benedict and Ralph Benitez were thrilled to create such a stunning model with a high level of precision. “Together, with our two powerful brands, we have created something very special with this Hot Wheels x Gucci item celebrating the 100th anniversary of the fashion house.”
To purchase this 1982 Hot Wheels x Gucci Cadillac Seville, you’ll have to wait for its official release on October 18 on the Mattel Creations and Gucci platforms. This limited edition collectible worth $120 will also be available at select Gucci stores.
