Japanese luxury watchmaker Grand Seiko has launched an exclusive exchange program with second-hand watch sales service Crown & Caliber.
Japanese luxury watchmaker Grand Seiko and pre-owned watch specialist Crown & Caliber launched a first-of-its-kind partnership Tuesday, July 20, which will take the form of a timepiece exchange program for customers in the United States.
“Crown & Caliber has built a reputation for providing top-notch service that brings transparency and confidence to the pre-owned watch space,” said Brice Le Troadec, president of Grand Seiko America.
So, for the purchase of a new Grand Seiko watch in a U.S. store, the exchange program with Crown & Caliber will offer transparent trade-ins of watch parts. Interested customers are invited to visit Crown & Caliber website or go directly to Grand Seiko‘s dedicated trade-in webpage.
“This new partnership allows us to further develop our relationship with the watch enthusiast community and offers increased value to those looking to purchase a new Grand Seiko,” adds Brice Le Troadec.
“Over the past 60 years, Grand Seiko has made highly sought-after watches that combine the best of innovation with true artistry and craftsmanship,” said Toby Bateman, CEO of HODINKEE.
Both groups say interested customers will be assured of receiving the best possible value for their timepiece. The trade-in process begins online and customers will receive a competitive trade-in price quote within three business days.
“As a manufacturer, Grand Seiko is a brand that our audience has a deep affinity for, and we are very excited to offer this new service to our community. This exclusive partnership further reinforces why Crown & Caliber is the market leader in pre-owned luxury watches,” concluded Toby Bateman.
