The French Federation of Tannery and Leatherworkers has announced the launch of the French Leather Marketplace, a new online tool dedicated to leather sourcing and aimed at professionals.

The French Leather Marketplace was launched on Monday, June 28, 2021 by the French Federation of Tannery and Leatherworkers. Faced with the recent mutation of the luxury and fashion sector, the French Leather Marketplace aims to better meet the needs of professionals in the leather industry.

This new tool offers two seasonal collections per year, based on the Fashion Week model, for designers, artisans and buyers, as well as a permanent collection of over 230 leather models in samples.

The French Federation of Tannery and Tawery specifies that the French Leather Marketplace will be free and without intermediaries. Registrations are reserved to professionals of the sector, subject to acceptance.

Through this platform, leather professionals will be able to exchange with French tanners and shippers directly. The French Leather Market also offers a search engine by leather, destination product, tanning, shade and company.

With nearly 27 French tanners and Leatherworkers mobilized to meet the needs of registered users, the online platform offers access to detailed material sheets, dedicated sheets by tanners and Leatherworkers and can even benefit from free samples.
