Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, one of the world’s leading luxury hotel groups, is reinforcing its place as a culinary leader with the most Michelin stars held by a single luxury hotel brand.

Four Seasons has a total of 28 stars, spread across 21 restaurants in 16 of its hotels around the world. The latest Michelin guides unveiled at the beginning of 2022 have helped Four Seasons to establish itself as a Michelin star hotel leader.

Restaurants and bars are at the heart of the Four Seasons brand. This latest recognition from the Michelin Guide is a testament to the talent and dedication of our chefs and their teams, reinforcing our commitment to innovate and elevate our dining experiences. By 2022, we will serve more than 20 million guests in our restaurants and bars. As we grow our business in the coming years, we will continue to make strategic investments in our global restaurant and bar portfolio to solidify our leadership position in this space,” said Christian Clerc, President Hotels and Resorts.

To ensure this focus on excellence and growth, Four Seasons appointed Kimberly Grant in March 2022 as its new and first global head of restaurants and bars and senior vice president, Food & Beverage. Her responsibilities will include a number of key roles within the group. The new head of the Four Seasons Restaurant and Bar Group will be responsible for overseeing all of the firm’s restaurant and bar operations and developing innovative concepts and projects, enhancing existing outlets, attracting top talent to the kitchen and unifying the operational process across the brand’s global portfolio.

Her expertise in strategic growth and operating innovative first-class concepts, combined with her passion for food and beverage, make Kimberly the perfect addition to our team, ensuring that our restaurants and bars continue to play a central role in the future of Four Seasons Vision,” says Clerc. “I am thrilled to be joining Four Seasons during such a tremendous period of growth. Throughout my personal and professional travels, Four Seasons restaurants have consistently exceeded my expectations for quality and I am honoured to have the opportunity to reimagine what excellence, creativity and innovation can look like in the brand’s restaurants and bars and significantly enhance our appeal as an independent dining destination for new and existing guests,” added Kimberly Grant.

Which Four Seasons restaurants and bars have been awarded Michelin stars?

On almost every continent, many restaurants and bars have been awarded Michelin stars. Announced on March 22, 2022 in the Michelin Guide France, the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris maintains its position as a gastronomic leader with its three restaurants, all of which have at least one Michelin star. Le Cinq*** has three, and one each at Le George* and L’Orangerie*. Also in France, the Four Seasons Hotel Megève received its first star for its new restaurant, La Dame de Pic – Le 1920*. It is also worth noting that the restaurant’s kitchen manager, Anne-Sophie Pic, is the most decorated Michelin-starred chef in the world.

Now we’re off to the Asian continent, the continent of all records. The Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong alone has the most Michelin stars of the group. Its Lung King Heen*** restaurant has three Michelin stars and is the first Chinese restaurant in the world to obtain three stars. Caprice*** is the second restaurant in this hotel to also have three stars. The third restaurant in the hotel, Sushi Saito*, also has a Michelin star.

Also, three Four Seasons bars have been named among the 50 best and most innovative bars in the region by Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2021. They include Caprice Bar at Four Seasons Hong Kong in tenth place, Bar Trigona at Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur in twelfth place and Charles H. in thirteenth place.

Finally, several restaurants in various parts of the world have been awarded their first inaugural Michelin stars in 2022. These include Pelagos* at the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, Est* at the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo, CURA* at the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon and Il Palagio* at the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze.
