Despite a rushed schedule due to the health crisis, New York Fashion Week kicked off on Friday, showcasing the Fall-Winter 2022-2023 collections. However, Michael Kors celebrates the return to nightlife through its show, affirming its eternal optimism.
The restrictions due to the pandemic and the epidemic rebound have disrupted the preparation of the New York Fashion Week. However, several houses decided to maintain a physical show, including Michael Kors, Telfar, Altuzarra, Tory Burch, Brandon Maxwell and others.
For his show, Michael Kors wanted to break away from the daily grind with restrictions and those they include. The goal ? To celebrate resilience and a return to a time when the Covid-19 pandemic did not exist, when going out was not a problem. That’s why he gave up his usual morning show for an evening parade, accompanied by a private concert by singer Miguel.

“Lincoln Center, the Carlyle Hotel, Bemelmans Bar all have lines out the door; people just want to get out ! There’s a club in Brooklyn called The House of Yes. And today, people are saying Yes,” comments Michael Kors.
The designer wanted to highlight his vision of “feeling strong, being confident in your body, strutting your stuff, going out and showing off” with looks based on the concept of “conceal and reveal”.
The Michael Kors Autumn-Winter 2022-2023 show was all about evening looks. The designer presented total glittery looks with pop accents as well as more sober looks for New York evenings or even chic looks like the suit.

The Michael Kors show was attended by a host of stars including the Lively sisters, influencer Chiara Ferragni, as well as model Lori Harvey. Famous models Gigi and Bella Hadid, as well as Emily Ratajkowski and Irina Shayk walked the runway for the designer.
