Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Jacquemus…What are the most sought-after fashion pieces of the year 2020? The Lyst Index report analyzes the most searched luxury items and looks back on the trends of the year 2020.
N°1 : The Pouch bag, Bottega Veneta
The Pouch bag, available in smooth, braided or colored leather, takes first place on the podium. It has generated more than 10,000 visits per month since its release, with page views increasing 297% on Lyst in September 2019. British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, with more than 10 million subscribers, shared it on Instagram 39 times in three months.

N°2 : Stretch sandals, Bottega Veneta
Following the trend of square-toe shoes in the Nodaleto style, the Bottega Veneta model has been in vogue all last summer. The brand thus occupies the first two places on the podium. Research peaked in July with a 471% increase.

N°3: The GG logo belt, Gucci
Named nine times in Lyst’s rankings over the past two years, the Gucci Logo belt remains one of the most sought-after luxury accessories. In 2019, two Gucci belts per minute were sold on the platform.
Its price: 360€.
N°4: Le Chiquito, Jacquemus
Jacquemus Le Chiquito mini-bag, worn by Emily Ratajkowski, Rihanna, or even Dua Lipa, has become the brand’s flagship product. On Lyst, research for this (mini) bag grew by 130% in May 2019 and generated more than 20,000 page views throughout the summer of 2020.

N°5 : The Prada logo bob
You’ve obviously already seen it on Instagram, celebrities and influencers are tearing it off…The nylon Prada bobsleigh was quickly sold out, internet searches having reached their peak last May.

N°6: The Louis Vuitton multi-pocket bag
The multi-pocket bag from Louis Vuitton, first imagined in 1992, is back in the spotlight with a brand new design. This multi-pocket bag has two detachable parts: a mini-pocket and a round zippered wallet. When it was launched in October 2019, stocks ran out in just a few days.

N°7 : The Seersucker checkered midi dress, Ganni
The brand popular with influencers, Ganni, fascinated the crowds at the last Copenhagen Fashion Week. The fluo check dress was a great success: it sold quickly after a +101% demand in July.

N°8 : The fleece jacket, Sandy Liang
Sandy Liang’s leopard print fleece jacket was the designer’s most coveted item in 2019, ranking eighth among the year’s highlights.

N°9 : The Rowe sky-blue jeans, Weekday
Rowe’s sustainable Weekday jeans, made from 100% organic cotton, were the best selling jeans in 2019 on Lyst. The brand’s research also increased 68% year-over-year.

N°10 : The GG Supreme shoulder bag, Gucci
The famous GG Supreme Messenger bag from Gucci’s men’s collection was also one of the most popular accessories of 2020. His research has risen 44% since last year.
