This year, the 10th edition of La Cité Du Luxe, organized by the international school of marketing and management of luxury EIML Paris, will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 in face-to-face and distance learning. This new edition will address the new territories of luxury, concerning new customers and new experiences.
For ten years now, La Cité Du Luxe has been an event that aims to be a place for exchange, dialogue and meetings between the younger generations, professionals and companies in the luxury sector.
The aim of the event ? To give a voice to students as well as experts around an exchange on the sector, in order to facilitate the professional integration of students and young graduates in the luxury sector.
“This year marks the 10th anniversary of our Cities of Luxury, a highlight of the EIML Paris. For this anniversary, we have chosen to highlight our students and particularly the members of the Luxury Club, whom we would like to thank here, and who have worked on the new territories of luxury, in terms of clientele, product offers and distribution strategies, a rich and exciting theme, particularly because of current world events, marked by societal and environmental concerns, the pandemic and the international geopolitical situation. These profound upheavals are changing the game and accelerating the transformation of luxury: the behaviour of generations Y and Z, whether in France or internationally, the creation and distribution of luxury objects with the development of virtual reality, NFTs but also second-hand and upcycling testify to a change of mindset at all levels of luxury, the search for new territories of expression and new levers of growth”, comments the EIML Paris school.
The general idea is to focus on the new luxury consumers, their consumption patterns, but above all the strategy of the Houses to seduce this new target and clientele.
