Tesla breaks new records in China

Tesla sold 56,006 electric vehicles in China in September, up from 44,264 in August, a new record for the group in two years.

 

Despite figures from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) showing a 17% drop in passenger car sales compared to the previous year, Tesla stands out and sets a new record.

 

The group had already reported a global delivery record in the third quarter. In China, the growth of exports to Europe and the introduction of the Model Y have boosted production lekarna-slovenija.com.

 

Of the 56,006 vehicles sold by Tesla China, about 4,000 were exported. In total, according to China Passenger Car Association records, 133,238 vehicles, or 55% of the group’s total deliveries in the third quarter came from China.

 

According to the CPCA, this record of 56,006 vehicles represents the highest number of vehicles manufactured in China since Tesla began production in Shanghai nearly two years ago.
