Squid Game : HoYeon Jung becomes the new face of Louis Vuitton

After the meteoric rise of the South Korean series Squid Game, Netflix has once again put the spotlight on a new face, that of actress HoYeon Jung. The young actress has become an international ambassador for Louis Vuitton, for campaigns dedicated to fashion, jewellery and watches.

Since the global phenomenon of the Netflix series Squid Game, HoYeon Jung has become the most popular actress in South Korea. Indeed, in just two weeks, the young actress has gone from 400,000 followers to over 15 million followers on the social network Instagram. In HoYeon Jung’s case, this is a meteoric rise.

Before the series Squid Game, HoYeon Jung did not set out for a career in acting but rather in modelling. She started modelling at the age of 16, but her career really took a turn in 2013, when she participated in season 4 of the reality show “Korea’s Next Top Model” and finished second in the contest.

This springboard opened the doors to prestigious companies such as Chanel, Fendi and Louis Vuitton. Indeed, her debut as an international ambassador was not her first step at the Maison Vuitton. Indeed, she made her first appearances on the catwalk for the French luxury brand in 2017.

At the official announcement of her signing as an international ambassador for Louis Vuitton, HoYeon Jung said, “I look forward to sharing moments with Louis Vuitton as an international ambassador”. This is just the beginning of a great story.
