Usually held in September, Première Vision Paris in partnership with Luxus Plus returns this time in July in a hybrid event, to accompany the creation of the Autumn Winter 23/24 collections. It will be held in a physical session on 5, 6 and 7 July 2022 at the Parc des Expositions de Paris Nord Villepinte, while the Digital Week will start from 4 to 8 July 2022 online on the Première Vision website and marketplace.
Première Vision aims to anticipate trends, select the best experts, commit to responsible fashion and develop a meeting place for industry experts.
Visitors (buyers, stylists, designers, production managers, fashion and accessories brand managers, etc.) will be able to discover the creative and original proposals and developments of 1190 international exhibitors (spinners, weavers, tanners, designers, accessories and components manufacturers, garment makers, etc.) from 44 countries, selected by a Selection Committee of professionals and experts. The number of exhibitors is up by 32% compared to September 2021 and 10% compared to the February 2022 edition.
Italy followed by Turkey and France represent the largest share of exhibitors present at this 2022 edition. The edition will gather 326 Italian exhibitors, 212 Turkish exhibitors and 154 French exhibitors. Thanks to the improvement in the health situation, the show hopes to see a return of non-European visitors.
However, Première Vision Paris prefers to remain cautious about its expectations due to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Gilles Lasbordes, Managing Director of Première Vision, said : “However, we also remain cautious, because while the health situation is improving, the international situation remains unpredictable due to the unrest linked to the war in Ukraine. Political instability with economic consequences, and we are experiencing an unprecedented level of inflation which is impacting on the consumer outlook. The fashion industry is experiencing supply difficulties, and is facing an unprecedented increase in raw material and energy prices.”
This year’s new features at Première Vision Paris are : The Eco-Innovation forum to present a selection of the show’s creative and responsible offer; The Trend Tasting Eco-Innovation seminar designed to better respond to the industry’s expectations and provide a concrete look at eco-responsible developments ; The Eco Entrance, which will present the different areas of Première Vision’s commitment to eco-responsibility in a playful and educational way.
