After sixteen years of closure, the Samaritaine Paris Pont-Neuf will open its doors to the general public tomorrow. To mark the occasion, LVMH is unveiling a photo of the Cheval Blanc Paris house.
After Saint-Tropez and Saint-Barthélemy, it is in Paris that the new hotel of the Cheval Blanc group will open its doors on 7 September. It is thanks to many passionate craftsmen and artists that the Cheval Blanc Paris was able to come into being, such as Edouard François who renovated the listed building. LVMH was also able to count on the architect Peter Marino, known for his talent and exuberant personality. It was this same artist who was responsible for the decoration of the Louis Vuitton boutique on Place Vendôme.
Swimming pool, Spa and luxury suites
In total, the Cheval Blanc has 72 keys including 26 rooms and 46 suites. The dimensions range from 45 m2 for the smallest rooms. The largest suite will reach 1000 m2 and will have a 12.5-metre long pool. Hotel guests will also be able to enjoy a unique Dior spa, swimming pool and sports facilities. There will also be four restaurants and bars, as well as a rooftop garden overlooking the capital.
Gourmet restaurants
Among these four restaurants, the Cheval Blanc hotel will host the first international address of Langosetira, an Italian gastronomic group, on the seventh floor. Founded by Enrico Buonocore, the group has only operated in Italy until now.
At the helm of the gastronomic table is three-starred chef Arnaud Donckele, former chef of Cheval Blanc St-Tropez. He will be accompanied by Maxime Frédéric, a rising star in the pastry world who is leaving the George V to join the Cheval Blanc Paris.
With its breathtaking view of the Seine and the Eiffel Tower, the Cheval Blanc Paris is aiming for the distinction of a palace. The price of a night in this 5-star hotel starts at 1150 euros.
