Hermès to exhibit at the “École des Beaux-Arts” in Paris

PARIS - OCTOBER 25: A general view of the Hermes store, rue saint Honore on October 25, 2010 in Paris, France. LVMH (Louis Vuitton. Moet Hennesy) has acquired a 17.1 percent stake in fashion group Hermes, in a move which is seen as positioning for a future outright aquisition bid. Hermes International SCA announced they are not contemplating any significant selling of shares in the luxury brand, whose stock is primarily controlled by members of the founding family. From 1 to 5 December 2021, Hermès will take over the School of Fine Arts (l’École des Beaux-arts) in Paris for a unique experience in motion. This is an opportunity to discover the company’s accessories collections while practicing a variety of original activities.

Carré Yoga, Stretch’Ceinture, Haltéro’Chaussure and Chapeau Balance are just some of the activities that Hermès will be offering from 1 to 5 December at the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris, where everything will be accessories.

Alongside the classrooms, the venue will feature a weight rack with disc bars and kettlebells, a callisthenics area for squaring off, a boxing ring, a climbing wall with vitamin colours and many other surprises.

Welcomed by a team of coaches in a luminous orange décor, visitors drop off their personal belongings in the cloakroom and select an accessory before joining the activity of their choice, whether it be yoga to find serenity, weightlifting with Hermès shoes as weights, or toning up their arms while making their jewellery accessories tinkle.

Also on the programme: in the centre of the space, close to the punching bags dressed in silk square patterns, the HermèsFit ring is transformed into a stage for acrobatic performances and live concerts.

Open to the public, HermèsFit marks the beginning of a series of events with a joyful and generous spirit, with stops all over the world, from Chengdu to New York to Tokyo. This event combines physical exercise with the brand’s emblematic accessories.
