Ferragamo : Sales up for the first quarter

Salvatore Ferragamo has revealed that its sales soared in the first quarter of 2021. Sales rose by 13%, driven by strong growth in Asia, but also in the US.

As a reminder, Salvatore Ferragamo, a luxury company of Italian origin, specialises in Swiss-made shoes, leather goods and timepieces. It also offers ready-to-wear clothing for men and women.

Like many, Salvatore Ferragamo was hit hard by the global Covid-19 pandemic. Little by little, luxury brands are coming back from the brink and this is the case for Ferragamo.

Recently, the group achieved a turnover of 245 million euros from the beginning of January to the end of March, in total agreement with analysts who were expecting 243 million euros, according to a Refinitiv consensus.

These are encouraging results for the brand, which can expect to do even better if the relaxation of the health protocol continues.
